With its dual ambition of rehabilitating a neighborhood and strengthening local community life, this equipment had to reflect in its architectural design the values of openness and hospitality that presided over its project.
In response to an urban context composed mainly of blocks, the proposal is characterized by a building all in curves and transparencies, with sensual volume, located at the corner of two streets with high declivity. Its originality lies in its inscription on the edge of a plot, around a patio. This central garden, decorated with a fountain, is widely visible through an external portico, and accessible through several entrances. The facades on the street, vertically punctuated by white concrete panels, allow a gentle modulation of the light, which is reflected in the interior spaces.
